odd really to have spent the wedge removing reliable if old stock

what do they do with the old stock? how do they get the old stock out and the new stock in?

I guess it'll just get scrapped. Although some old underground trains are used on the railway on the Isle of Wight.

Although the whole of the Victoria Line is underground, the depot where the trains are maintained (somewhere near Seven Sisters) isn't so I imagine the new stock gets delivered there.

Here's one being loaded onto a lorry to be taken to the scrapyard. They are being scrapped at CF Booths in Rotherham.

If that is the Victoria Line, what are all those branch lines to the right of the diagram?

Northumberland Park depot - it's massive - you can see it on a National Express train between Tottenham Hale and well, Northumberland Park.
