FA Cup Saturday 2nd September

Cheshunt by the looks of it.
Their ground must have been rocking on August Bank Holiday with a crowd of 450 in. Half the seats are useless because the stand is about 20 yards from touchline with no elevation, and the dugouts are directly in front blocking the view. Yet he thinks our ground is worse. 🤡

Relive the grimness!

Also is the crowd noise being played at substitutions a new thing? I'm not a fan.

Might have been played at other moments as well without it registering.

Suspect it's nothing more than the PA mic being left on as people are clapping the departing player off / incoming player on.
That was probably the most entertaining part of the afternoon. It sounded like canned applause coming over the PA while Liam was announcing our substitutions! The microphone was obviously just picking up clapping from spectators in the immediate vicinity. I rather enjoyed it.

Must say it was a very poor performance
Don't like to have a go at managers , but have to agree with editor on this one, the hoofball is not good to watch and that seems to be the recent tactics

The knock it as quick as you can to the big man up front sometimes can be affective but whens its not its awful to watch
i can sort of understand the tightening up after conceding so many goals recent games, but after taking the lead surely you have to be a bit more expansive in your play
Has this Manger been known for the long ball game at his previous clubs ? A sort of Bassett /Graham Taylor of non league

Dulwich had such a great crowd just a few years ago, a joy to be in amongst it, but it is hard to get into games with these sort of tactics.
I really hope things can get back on track football and fans wise

Looked at the video and he grabbed at his shirt and held him into the box. Ridiculous foul, totally unnecessary but that is the norm with that player. Let the whole team down.
Yeah when on his game i think his a decent player, can knock a nice ball at times but every so often seems to be all over the place and lets himself down with silly fouls etc like the week end

In the absence of anything from the club here are details of tomorrows replay for those brave enough.

well, most people do actually seem to be watching the game much to the grumpy twitter gammon's disappointment!
I have to be honest: I saw several groups of people who had their backs to the game for ages while they chatted away. They were all kitted out in brand new Hamlet gear so they're helping the club's finances and it's up to them how they want to spend the 90 minutes but I can see why some people take the piss.

Anyone been before? Tempted because it's a new ground and I sense that everything will click into place and we'll storm into the next round.
I'm going. Quick train and a bus from work. Plus, Tuesday night. Love Tuesday night football. Even if Dulwich are playing away - at least it won't be raining cats and dogs like the last time I went to watch them get dumped out of a cup...

I have been there, including seeing Somaliland play there once.

Sadly no pubs in the vicinity. Antwerp Arms is the best bet, but that's still a 25 minute walk.

The Prince is decent enough, about 5 minutes walk from Wood Green Underground Station in the opposite direction to the ground, so about a 20 minutes walk from the ground. More convenient for post-match than pre-match.

There's also a Wetherspoon's right outside the underground station.

The Prince is also nr Ally Pally station for those travelling via rail.
