Well, that’s a weird one!

Epic Games is acquiring independent music storefront Bandcamp. The companies announced the news today, saying that Bandcamp would “keep operating as a standalone marketplace and music community” but use Epic’s resources to expand internationally and continue adding new features.

That's really shit. As I've had a bit more money in recent months I've been ensuring to use bandcamp as much as possible to pick up albums etc. I think I'm right in saying that Epic have been struggling too with their online store so seems a weird one.

Hmm I really like bandcamp - the app could do with a complete revamp, but otherwise the main reason I like it is that I can download my songs at any time. Other sites don't allow that so as long as they keep that as an option I'll be happy.
