Brilliant, this may be the only festival overlap we have han, so we'll have to get sociable ;) :)

okidoki! :) I was planning Tolpuddle as well, but realised it clashes with Lambeth Country Show, which I am NOT missing this year.

I wouldn't mind going to another festival as well this year but just haven't got it together to think about it yet. Is there a list on urban, Will?

<whistles and looks other way  >

Not really, I'm afraid  x 10,000

Lambeth County Show clashes with our planned trip to Hebden Bridge in July for their free festival up there (see thread in Community), so we have to miss the joys of Chucklehead this time ...

The final headliners are

Pama International

Dreadzone

There will be other bands released nearer the time.

Other things occurring…..

Kids area

This year we are currently in talks with Panic Circus to run the majority of our kids area - http://www.paniccircus.co.uk/ . things are nearly finalised and we look forward to having them on board.

In celebration of all things Westcountry, we are proud to announce Scrumpy Sunday, hosted by Dorset Lovelies Who’s Afear’d. The event will take place on the third stage, (which is now situated in the Wig-on Casino) on the Sunday afternoon. Expect traditional Scrumpy ( none of they fizzy nonsense), great bands with which to drink a drop of the golden stuff, drink awareness schemes and plenty of off the wall comedy action from the hosts. This is also Ladies Day – a chance to dress up in a pretty frock, drink scrumpy and no-one bat an eyelid – the two events go hand in hand - quite perfect really. More details – but not too many - will be released nearer the time

In the mean time there are plenty of Endorse it gigs scampering over the horizon.

This Saturday in Southampton at Talking Heads sees Cash Converted, SubGiant & Pronghorn storming the stage in what promises to be a great night.

Later this Spring we have a weekender planned at Wimborne in The White Hart. Each evening over the first May Bank Holiday ( May 1st, 2nd & 3rd) Endorse it Festival will be taking over the stage to provide their renowned “quality entertainment at a reasonable price”. There is also a Town Crier competition planned, featuring Endorse it’s own Rock & Roll Town Crier, Chris Brown.

Running times/dates will be released in the near future, but bands booked so far include, The Guns of Navarone, Who’s Afear’d, Pronghorn, The Boot Hill All Stars, Henry’s Phonograph and Cash Converted. Keep your eye on the forum/facebook group for details.

And it gets better……

During the Wimborne Folk Festival, on Saturday 13th June, Endorse it will be hosting the event of the festival at Paw Paws night club. This will feature Who’s Afear’d, Cash Converted, The Boot Hill All Stars & Pronghorn. For those who don’t know, Pronghorn play every year in one of the pubs at Wimborne Folk Festival. It is always the highlight of the Saturday night and the pubs are always sold out.

So do come on down – everyone’s welcome
