you don't have to but it's quieter :)

camp sensible would promise to be quiet so you could join us, but we both know that if I've been drinking that isn't going to happen

Given the size of the site never found it made much difference noise wise. But if sun is shining and you camp next to hedge in family field you can get about two hours more sleep before the sun wakes you up.

True that. The vehicle field is full of rough cut wheat stalk stumps. Prickly and hard and lumpy even when you stamp them down.

that is true - it's ok if you're in a vehicle but you do need a bit of padding in a tent :)

If the crops have roatated then all bets are off!

don'tyou remember last year crew camping moved from the nice big field behind the farmhouse to that nasty little enclosure next to the main drag?

that was rotation based (crew camping has moved back again this year), so i'm wondering if it affects other locations as well?

We'll be camping nearby Camp Sensible, but we're quite flexible anyway ...... :)

Looks from earlier posts like I won't be able to avoid 'dressing up' on Sunday  , who knows whether I'll prefer Debbie's spare dress or mango's :hmm:

you should be coming too.

why aren't you??

oh i enjoyed aspects of it - mooching about with mates, Alabama 3, and Jeff's Friday night tent - but not enough to go again i'm afraid*

*unless the line-up's better next year.

have fun m'dear, will this be your gorgeous littleun's first festie?

I have to agree, the lineup's a bit pants, always has been, but what's really good about it is the camping/countryside/lots of mates going/small festie atmosphere and lots of random good stuff like punk karaoke.

My perfect festival would be this year's big chill lineup (Orbital! David Byrne! loads more good stuff!) in a festie the size of Endorse It. Hey, one can dream....:D

me too! I'm looking forward to seeing loads of stuff too!

It's just that alot of it's stuff I've seen about a gazillion times before. But I'm going mainly for the atmos anyway.

Oh dear, I didn't really want to get into this argument. I was just agreeing with Foo.

.

Vibe not lineup, can relate to that :)

Especially at Endorse It -- having missed it last time, I can't wait to get back ...

Also, I saw Who's Afeared at Glastonbury, I'd never seen them previously, but now they're on my 'must see' list ... :D

oh, don't surpress it! let it all hang out. dilate all those orifices and let the excitement spew forth!

Lots of people were raving (literally) about Eat Static at the Glade!

I'm looking forward to seeing Los Albertos heaps - feel good summery ska types

And wierdly for me, I'm quite the fan of Dreadzone!
