We're all ready to go with train tickets booked to Salisbury.

Now we've just got to find out how the chuffin' 'eck we get from Salisbury to the festival...

PS Be great to see you Yoss!

It has been mentioned that hippy types attend this fesitval. Is this right? Will there still be like meat to eat?

I bet the weather will be lovely. Am going camping around Dorset/devon after for a few days. :)

Seeing as I haven't been following this thread and I've already trawled back five pages and found nowt (and 'bus' is too short to search for), could some kind soul remind me of the bus arrangements from Salisbury station please?

Ta.

Yeah there is meat on sale. Although you have to walk past a vigil of hippies hissing and cursing you ;)

Get off at Handley Cross roundabout, and it's on the Salisbury side of the roundabout.

And bear in mind that it's not a schoolday or a saturday or whatever and therefore there are only about 4 buses all day long. I hope your train gets in at a sensible time!
Only a bonkers idiot arrives really really late somewhere without knowing how to get on to the final destination!

:D :D :D

Looks like we have a leisurely two hours to take in the joys of Salisbury. I might be tempted to get a cab as all that hanging about will be eating into festie fun time.

What time are you getting there?
