what time does it stop on sunday?

we're trying to decide when to leave.

I have a complete blank about sunday last year!

See Ive got to be at work, and I asked for monday off as well (as an after thought, considered i might be a bit fucked), but could't get it and though oh well doesn;t matter, now, with mere hours to go (almost) i discover i'm missing the last night of mashdness :(

About 6am monday last year. :)

Jesus fuck, yes :(

This is the first year I'm not telling myself I'm going to work straight from Endorse It. I made it the first year. Last year, at 5am I was stood on a pile of my own vinyl drinking neat rum and shouting. I didn't make it to work.

BTW, sparklefish, I saw the young guy at Endorse It who does our sound every year when I was in Bournemouth last week. He seemed nervous of me :D

:D

ok, let me rephrase - what time does the music stop before the mad drug taking takes over?

because i'm not taking any mad drugs.

ie: when does the main stage finish and we could leave if we chose to?

i don't think there's a division between drugs and music judging by this lot last year.

BUT i think the main stage probably winds down midnightish, if i remember righly, which I don't cos I'd been taking drugs.

But it's only Dreadzone :p

Will you be dancing away whilst simultaneously slagging them off again?

Their website is down, I forget who's on and when. Symarip is on the Saturday, aye? *really* want to see (as well as AOS3).

Beat on Friday, I think, Buzzcocks Saturday, Dreadzone and Alabama 3 Sunday (that's from memory).

Also Sunday - the mighty Self Abuse (Bournemouth's greatest punk band) and Who's Afeared, those Dorset separatists featuring Kevicious who played PROD at xmas

and we're on every night

You need a photographer for promo photos :D

nicely done :)

it has turned into a really strong line-up, actually.. the smaller bands you don't know that play in the daytime often turn out ace at Endorse It..

I checked most of them out on myspace - some are good some are, well they're not my bag. DJ Kirky was shite IIRC.

I've never heard of anyone on that bill. Well, pretty much. I'll be requiring recommendations, Geoff, m'boy, if you don't mind.

And possibly someone to carry me down there, too. Thanks. :)

Symarip, ska / reggae outfit - original skinhead shit. Fucking quality stuff, "I want all you skinheads to get up on your feet Put your braces together and your boots on your feet And give me some of that old moonstomping."

I hope they're as good as I am expecting, although Roy Nellis probaly about 60 :D

Yeah, I'm looking forward to Symarip and The Skatalites a lot.

Elsewhere, Alabama 3 are always pretty good, there's a band playing on the website homepage called Subgiant or something who've appealed and I expect I'll do the whole nostalgia bit with The Beat and The Buzzcocks.

And I want some hardcore washboard action.
