Thing I loved about the trance scene in the 92/93 period is there were no real borders between techno, trance, progressive house, bleep and anything else that fitted in a set. Shit, there was no agreement over what it was even called. Most people were calling it techno or rave, prompting Juan Atkins' "If you're gonna call it techno know what techno is; buy some shit from Detroit and there you'll find out" quote. For the most part I didn't give a shit as was too busy stumbling round and dancing on acid.
