Slowly working my way through - I knew the thing about "libertarian" being first used by Dejacque as "libertaire" but I assumed he was probably living in France, I never realised before that New York has a claim to being the home of (proper) libertarianism. Had never encountered that Engels quote about the importance of splits before either, slightly surprised that one's not better known.

Is it going to be generally available? Happy to stock a couple of copies in my bookshop.
Yep, you can buy copies here:

No idea what the wholesale rate is but if you drop them a line I imagine they'll be able to sort something out?

Just ordered from our suppliers - copy for me too. Looking forward to reading it.

Here's a thought - @Battlescarred, are you doing or interested in doing any podcast interviews to promote the book? Off the top of my head, I think Time Talks, Final Straw and Coffee with Comrades are all shows that sometimes do interviews with authors of anarchist books. Could well be worth the authors of Sick of it All getting in touch with those shows as well, I suppose?

The Idea - Kent Book Launch & Discussion
Join author Nick Heath for the Kent book launch of his new book, The Idea. Anarchist Communism: Past, Present and Future.

Published by Just Books in Belfast, Nick Heath’s new book is a timely addition to the literature on Anarchist Communism.

Nick has a long career as both an activist and historian in and of class struggle anarchism. As such this is not another academic study of a movement but a work produced for and by the movement from the perspective of a longstanding and dedicated comrade and activist.

This is a free event though donations for The Folkestone Bookshop would be welcome

For people who like books about anarchist communist history, the first ever English-language book on the FAU is coming out soon:

In other news, reread Fabbri's Bourgeois Influences on Anarchism recently, it's better than I remembered, or maybe it's just one of those texts that gets better the older and grumpier you get.
