Apparently one of the health benefits of cranberries is they lower blood pressure.
Worth a listen.
I wanted to like that, but it was pretty horrible.

No I haven't.Ah well.
No accounting for taste.
Luciano liked her
And I wouldn't expect you to like her as you already said you didnt.
looking at his list of collaborations he doesn't strike me as a reliable bench mark of good taste.Ah well.

No I haven't.
I like pretty much everything she did with the Cranberries. I Just don't think her voice suited that particular song at all.
Dolores was not an opera or classical music singer, she was a mezzo-soprano with deep roots in sacred and irish folk music who always wanted to transcend in Rock-Pop scene. Not being another Enya, nor an O'Connor whose hit was a cover of the greatest Rock artist of the 80s.Fair enough.
Do you have any problem to Spanish people?what a load of pish. nobody likes Limerick, even in Ireland, DOR and the Cranberries were an outlier. No wonder they have so many Spanish fans
I'll bet a pound to a pinch of shite that more people like Limerick than like you.what a load of pish. nobody likes Limerick, even in Ireland, DOR and the Cranberries were an outlier. No wonder they have so many Spanish fans

It's not just that. Her breathing and phrasing is all wrong for a piece like that. She was often quite flat on the notes.
I can see why the opera crowd would like that.
Tbf, some of my favourite singers are a bit flat sometimes.
I would imagine it was probably just what she decided was her own style? She was well able to sing in the school choir. It's not just that. Her breathing and phrasing is all wrong for a piece like that.

That said, I am in the middle of both opinions. Nope I am convinced by Dolores's interpretation because I think she makes her voice too high, however she does it with such love and passion that they make me value this concert positively.
Here, in this concert, the one who is really disastrous is Simon Le Bon in Linger, the singer of Duran Duran I think he did one of the worst performances I can remember seeing in my entire life. Terrible:
And I don´t dislike DD.
More likely catatoniaI reckon everyone here was listening to Catalonia instead. Bit radio 6 on here innit.
It's in spainCatalonia?
YesIt's in spain
For nowIt's in spain
This wouldn't even have happened if the pathetic 'black catholics' 'gang' hadn't failed so miserably to achieve their objectives.Pav would have done the go compare advert if he was still alive. He sang with U2 ffs.
"The Black Catholics hated U2 because they didn't consider them proper punks. They gave up disrupting U2 gigs not long after the incident with Paul McGuinness because they soon realised they weren't making any headway trying to stop U2,"

Paul McGuinness vs The Black Catholics
Paul McGuinness recounted last week how he once took on a gang known as The Black Catholics who were notorious for breaking up early U2 gigs.www.independent.ie
