He has some equations in his lecture but you don't need to understand them, this lecture is talking about what needs to be in the model and how it can be used.

If you don't want to listen to the whole lecture you might want to you jump to 56 minutes. Its likely the government will operate an on/off lock down policy and he shows what might happen to the number of ICU beds.

In the lecture there are some differential equations (my knowledge of differential equations is very very limited)
