On the subject of Timecop; that's a Van Damme, right? A mate recommended JCVD recently, sounds awesome - anyone here seen it?

I loved the first three prophecy films, with all the pseudo religious mythologising but the latest two (both 2005) look like completely unrelated bollocks - has any sequel-whore managed to watch them?
Along similar lines, what's the name of the Carpenter movie where the devil is about to re-emerge into the planet via the medium of a large tube of sludge, and is basically 'Assault on Precint 13' but with devil-controlled humans invading the place where the vessel is, instead of hoods rousting the po-leece.
I am suddenly intrigued
Of course you are, look at your username ffs
Can't forget to mention that film in a discussion of quasi-catholic cinema, compare and contrast Gabriel Byrne as the troubled priest in this with his portrayal of a slimey Devil in the rubbish End Of Days.
Yeah man, I love shitehole pseudo-relgious movies - I even watched Legion and got some vicarious thrills from it's John Carpenter rip-off approach, heavy firepower and kick-ass Gabriel.
