Classic 'Mum' musical predictions...

On Queen: "That poor Mercury woman's got no bosoms!"
On Elton (whispered) "Poor man - he has to wear those built-up shoes"

My mum was quite on to all our music throughout the years, so no tales of mirth there. However, her eyesight was really bad and one day, many years ago, whilst peering at the HUGE poster of Bob Marley 'Legend' on my wall, together with his name, she came out with the gem, 'Is that John Marley?' Bless! We never ever let her live it down!!!

RIP Mum, miss you xx :D

Kenneth Williams was using gay to mean other than full of the joys of spring in the early 1940s. Check out his diaries.

My mum used to serve Kenneth Williams at the P.O.where he collected his mums pension every week. :)

What do you mean 'that's completely irrelevant'?  :( :p
