Chechnya to ban music not between 80 and 116 BPM

There’s club nights and labels dedicated to sub-120bpm ‘chuggers’ - the late great Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston’s A Love From Outer Space being the prime example, but I’ve a feeling an ALFOS tour would not be welcome in Chechnya, now would Sean want to endorse the regime by playing there.
But I wonder if this will create a new music scene, as constraints such as this can inspire much creativity. Though I doubt it would be encouraged by the state, given that they also state ‘Borrowing musical culture from other peoples is inadmissible’ in the cited announcement

I hope that we can introduce this measure here before Chechnya chickens out, or it will be the age-related cigarette ban all over again.
