Cheap Winter Sun Holidays: your recommendations

I'm going to San Marcos in Tenerife. Air BnB apartment to myself with a sea view that gets the sunset
Will probs be tight and mostly self-cater.

How was it? I went to Puerto de la Cruz at Easter. I think I cycled down to San Marcos, ouch ! I found the coastal areas way over developed. The three different hikes we did and some of the cycling revealed some lovely places though.

I never went.
I had to cancel cos my mum was hospitalised two days before I was due to go and then died a few days later.
Since then I've spent my holiday money on a few weekend visits to London, so I'm not likely to get a holiday this year - I'm hoping there'll be plenty of sun in the UK this summer!
I've since had a Vit D blood test and it's improved but not enough.
I still intend to visit Tenerife, just not any time soon.

I went to Malaga for the first week of Jan this year. Airbnb flat in the centre of the shopping precinct for about £300. Temperatures 16 -20 degrees everyday, fresh seafood lunch on the beach everyday, day trips to Gibraltar and Ronda - was bootyful!

I'm going on a cycling holiday in that part of the world tomorrow. Staying near Ronda :)

Nice! - Very hilly round there, hope you're fit for it. If you haven't seen Ronda before make sure you do, fantastic views from the rather amazing stone bridge that spans it.
