I liked it too, pretty funny & feels like a plausible 'sit-com'

I saw Sharon Horgan in a deli in Broadway market with her child a few years back, she seemed very nice

It's one of the best shows on tv at the moment i reckon

Its a fantastic show. My wife and I have both split our sides watching it. Nice to see Sharon Horgan playing a normal Irish woman, and not some maniac creation.

Favourite moment so far is after they've met the Scottish woman in the pub in the first episode, Rob says 'She seems nice' to which Sharon relies 'She's a cunt'

Just like my local back home.

Been watching since the start. Haven't laughed that much, but it's ok. Think I have been spoiled by harder, darker comedies

edit: last night's episode (3rd) was the best one so far.

Great chemistry and some nice touches like Sharon's brother who has a similar sense of humour as Sharon but, unlike her, manages to make it very annoying. The ubiquity of Ashley Jensen is a complete mystery to me but her husband is shaping up to be a strong supporting character.

I know him from something but I can't think what. I've done an imdb. Nothing stands out. I'm sure he played a rapist or similar evil character. ?

Yes I get the same vibe, which explains why it took a couple of episodes for me to warm to him.

I can't remember him but Google says he might have been a bit of a bastard. I think he was in it when I wasn't watching as much.
