Bulldog Bash 2014

The classic Boxhill or Bust. This is now your new anthem Mation and you must sing it lustily at every opportunity; "Boxhill, Boxhill, here we come, I ain't happy til I've reached the ton, a cup of splosh and a greasy dog, I'm happy when I'm riding me hog"

:D I don't think so. In any case I had to stop it as it was distressing TopCat :D

not Back Street Heroes (gosh this conversation is bringing back memories). It was called British Bike and was operated out of South Wales .. I just did it as a p/t job for a while whilst living in Cardiff. Before that I was South London/Kent and happened to have a boyfriend who was into chopping bikes. In fact I ran away from my convent school to move in with him. It was quite a good rebellion on my behalf. :D We had a bike accident in Penge that resulted in a court case and me receiving compensation and I used the money to get my own bike licence and an MZ...
Totally cool, I loved MZ's. :)

If you were bewildered at Boxhill Mation, I'm not sure how you're going to be at the Bulldog :D Though I've not been part of it for 15 odd years and there's a recent, massively poncy and rich hipster biker scene, so maybe it's all a bit mellower now. Still, Angel run and no police on site always sort of worked.

I used to buy the 250's in a crate for about 350 sovs and courier the life out of them. Built out of old tanks!!!

that's what I had.. An MZ ETZ 251. I thought it looked a bit shit and lusted after an old British bike but lots of "proper" bikers and couriers really rated them - and to be fair.. it just kept going and going..

Blimey! My husband played at a couple of bulldog bashs. Probably around 93/94/95 but I can't remember where they were. Always had a wicked time....

it'll be fine. It was fine on May Day run the other week, and Bulldog Bash has band and booze and stuff to hang it all together. But Boxhill was just literally people standing and looking. Very amusing to a newbie like me :)

I ended up with three of the fuckers. :) I am glad to be riding a ratty old BMW now. :)

The drag strip will have to be done. What could possibly go wrong with MY bike needing to be totally dismantled to change the clutch.

It was a good laugh. Weather not too bad. Go there about 10pm Thursday evening and missed all the police as a result. The beer was cold and £2.50 a pint. The music not my cup of tea really. Lots of HA and other patch club blokes all looking moody. Very polite though and absolutely no trouble. No tent thefts. I did not do the drag strip. My gs would have fallen apart.

Well the bash is back on and at £40 makes for a cheap bike focused piss up.

£40 isn't cheap. Bike rallies are normally £15/20 a ticket ime. But the Bulldog is very much bigger. Never been but went to the Kent Custom Bike Show(before it was the Bulldog)
