What was it like?omg.. is this still going? I went back in my biker days.. way way back!
What was it like?
If you can't remember it, it was probably greatwell tbh.. I can't even remember exactly when it was.. I would have been late teens/early twenties and I went to quite a lot of biker and other festivals at that time - so I'm not entirely sure. There was a lot of speed and poppers about... so a pretty useless review there - sorry!

I went for years too, iirc the first one may have been in aboout 1988? i used to always go to the kent custom bike show, and usually got to work them as well, when they started the bash i got offered work there too. Always a lot of fun
I think I might have been to this one too.. at one point i worked for a bike magazine and did some festivals on the stall - although I think they were out west somewhere.
We even did a bike trip to Le Mans - part of which ended up in A&E..
Yikes. A&E? What happened?I think I might have been to this one too.. at one point i worked for a bike magazine and did some festivals on the stall - although I think they were out west somewhere.

Crumbs!not Back Street Heroes (gosh this conversation is bringing back memories). It was called British Bike and was operated out of South Wales .. I just did it as a p/t job for a while whilst living in Cardiff. Before that I was South London/Kent and happened to have a boyfriend who was into chopping bikes. In fact I ran away from my convent school to move in with him. It was quite a good rebellion on my behalf. We had a bike accident in Penge that resulted in a court case and me receiving compensation and I used the money to get my own bike licence and an MZ...

The classic Boxhill or Bust. This is now your new anthem Mation and you must sing it lustily at every opportunity; "Boxhill, Boxhill, here we come, I ain't happy til I've reached the ton, a cup of splosh and a greasy dog, I'm happy when I'm riding me hog"The name is very familiar but I've no idea what they did...
lol I was one of the bromley punks! used to hang around outside bonaparts record store in station square on sat afternoons and stuff . a few years later i ended up with a biker in the medway towns
