I guess half of British kids walk around with American place names on their clothes, so maybe its not all bad -a bit of payback. Any venture capitalists want to go in with me to make a Catford clothes line?

My mate (married to a shoe factory owner in Spain) was selling her shoes range to some Japanese buyers at a trade show. Their store (in Japan) was called Milton Keynes. We had a bit of a chortle about that one.

If I had a clothes shop I would call it Maynard Keynes. Or perhaps Milton Friedman, or maybe Maynard Freeman or perhaps Freeman Hardy and Willis Nelson.

I think Urban75 should claim royalties for the name Brixton. Nobody in America would know about the existence of Brixton were it not for Urban75.
