It is a very delicious pint and a good night was had by all. Great to meet you editor
There are plans afoot to get it on in pubs closer to home, but quite a few that would love to are not able due to being controlled by pub cos. Florence will have it on tomorrow, trying to get it on at the Crown and Anchor with a 'meet the grower' night. Draft House told me it was the quickest selling pint they can remember - sold the whole barrel in less than 6 hours!
But on a different note... I got charged £10.60 for two pints in the Bishop which can't be right!? I didn't challenge it at the time (shell shocked!!) but now I'm thinking the barman got it wrong, or do you think it is just how they roll on Lordship Lane? Jesus.
Two pints of what? I can believe they charge that for some things but even there a basic pint should be less than that surely.
How much is left, Helen? I'd love to sample a pint or two of this.
They have it on at the Florence from Monday and I'm hoping end of next week at the Crown and Anchor if Raj returns my calls!
We're thinking of experimenting with growing the barley next year and doing a honey ale with Lambeth honey as well.

An even mix of new mothers, girlfriends, dog owners and young lovers fill this trendy yet casual pub during the day, which turns over rather quickly to crowds of fashionistas and yuppies in the evenings.
