Bristol Storminess!!

... great stuff....... :D

... although my daughter finshes school at 2.30, & walks up to my work.... she is going to be VERY wet & VERY ratty..... :hmm:

I missed it, only got to temple meads on the train half an hour or so after it passed.

Fortunately i ended up getting a taxi from temple meads driven by some crazy rasta, who described the whole thing in the most glorious and animated way, which was pretty fun.

I was out walking this afternoon, nowhere near any possible shelter, and got abso-fucking-lutely soaked to the bones of my bones. :(

I was releasing tadpoles and froglets back into the pond. Got totally drenched and loved every minute of it!

Missed this as we were on a train, but my mate who picked us up from the station said it was the heaviest rain he has ever seen in Bristol.

I was sitting in my warm cosy office, drinking a cup of orange redbush tea watching the storm....'Ahhhh' *sighs contentedly*

Dunno whether i'd agree about the heaviest rain but the sub-bass lines from the rumbling thunder were some of the lowest i'd felt, most enjoyable!;)

Blimey - must have been very localised. Might explain the amount of water in my kitchen though ...

For me it was 10th September '05 when my street turned into a river.
