Big Serving Tray

Badgers

Mr Big Shrimp!
R.I.P.
I am looking for a cheap but not awful large serving tray.

This sort of thing...

Should be easy to find :hmm: but am after one around 80/90cm x 40cm which does not seem to be what my searches consider a 'large' tray.

That is £350 ffs
My first car was £50

I only need a tray. Suppose this one is the right size.

Yeah. Sorry. I should have said but didn't, that this was an example of a large butler's tray, but it being so pricey it probably wouldn't work for you. I posted it up as an example of a large butler's tray. To demonstrate that a large butler's tray was the thing that you might usefully google for in your search for a large tray with retaining sides.

I probably shouldn't have bothered. I should have just let you go off to find a picture of a butler's tray for yourself.

And I also should have said but didn't, because it seems so obvious as to be pointless to spend the time typing it out, that something that large might necessitate you buying something that has a standing frame upon which to put it, because a large butler's tray that is almost a meter long, loaded with drinks or whatever, would be very heavy and might need to be put onto a stand rather than the table at which people are gathered to eat. And even if YOU don't want to use it that way, it's designed to be used that way, so you might not be able to find one that doesn't also come with a stand, which would probably put the price up.

:D

I'll make you one. What sort if size are you looking for?
To be honest I can wash myself :D but am pretty useless with DIY and craft stuff. Live in a small leasehold flat with no tools of merit (few screwdrivers and a pair of pliers aside) to even attempt such things. No doubt a local wood place could cut the wood to size and I could glue/nail it but will likely fuck it up.

Plus a tray measuring 80/90cm x 40cm probably needs to be fairly solid :hmm:
