Bering Sea meteor December 2018

I didn't notice the coverage of this at the time, but this article says that a meteor, possibly a couple of metres across, exploded with 176KT energy above the Kamchatka Peninsula.

It hit the atmosphere at 72,000mph.

Meteor blast over Bering Sea was 10 times size of Hiroshima

Annoyingly they didn't publish a photo of this meteor (probably because no-one saw it), but used one of the Chelyabinsk fireball.

We could do with more like this. Liven things up a bit.

I believe they have only just released this. The Americans may have been concerned it was North Korea!
