will be on holiday during the festival. good seeing there are no tickets anymore as my plan b was wait until nearer the time in which case i would be really upset now.

We got our tickets finally, but then we booked train tickets for Exeter the night before, without any clue where we were going to sleep. Now it turns out there isn't thge usual gig going on the night before. 
Don't know whether to spend the night in Exeter anyway, in an expentsive B&B, or find a campsite on the way to the festie somewhere.

I was having a chat with my friends the other night and we all agreed one of the best things about BD is that you arrive on the day the festival starts. You've had a good night sleep, you're really excited and you just want to get into the action. All this leads to an epic Friday.
As fun as doing spomething the night before sounds I'd wake up on Friday with a hangover and I want at least one day at the festival not feeling shite.

We are going to be doing your actual bona fide camping, in a tent and everything. 
This is because I couldn't be bothered to drive all the way to Exeter in the camper van, so we decided to get the train.
I'm all excited! 
I've just put the tent up in the garden to make sure it hasn't broken or gone mouldy since we last used it, a couple of years ago. I've started planning food and rucksack packing.
It's still a month away.
