The scale of what they've done has been pretty good but the actual execution has been poor, IMO. The camera angles during a lot of the athletics hasn't seemed right to me. And they seem to show the same things over and over again. They also focus far too heavily on 'Team GB'. I haven't seen any handball at all. I know its on somewhere but I've watched a LOT of Olympics and this has never showed up on any of the channels I have.
And of course, we have the presenters. What a crock of shit. Inverdale has to be the biggest cunt on TV. Michael Johnson must be desparately holding himself back from smacking him in the mouth. Then you've got Gabby Roslin, that twat who is trackside and that posh dickhead Clare Balding. What a bunch of fucksticks. Gary Lineker is the best presenter they have which tells you everything you need to know about the standard on show.
The camera angles etc aren't anything to do with them. The IOC supply the pictures, the BBC broadcast them. Focusing on Team GB probably has something to do with one of the Bs in BBC I'd guess.
They do it to the detriment of every other sport though. IMO of course.
But you can choose to watch any country in any sport. They do it to the detriment of every other sport though. IMO of course.
