Nice chords though. I've a couple of songs using them. One with a lot of alternating Em and Am, and the other alternative Am and D mostly and then dropping in the odd Em and the very occasional G.

F isn't too bad if you don't play all the way across the strings. Doesn't have to be a barre chord.

I always play an F by using my first finger to fret the top two strings and my thumb to fret the bottom string.
