I came across this opinion piece by Joe Simpson, the guy that wrote Touching the Void. Agreed with lots if not all of it, and it's nice to come across someone that's in the public eye to some degree, actually expressing strong opinions.

Noticed that quite a few people enjoyed Touching the Void and Simpson's books so I thought it might be of interest.

That airport saga was so frustrating, he did well to keep it together! (mind you, he's been through a lot worse, hey?)
