Anyone absolutely sick of "going for a walk?"

The past few weeks I've been walking laps around the park - two laps then a shorter one around the lake is as much as I can cope with before it gets too boring - usually FSOL or the Orb on the cans ... but an hour out of the house plus the exercise ..
In my case it replaces my 2 x half hour cycle commute ...

It's not the world's most exciting park ...

Completely sick of it now. Fuck walking. Sick of the bloody park and the bloody trees and the bloody ducks all having fun doing duck things. Sick of all the streets around here, the closed shops, the council "stay at home" signs, the bloody co-op. Burn it all down tbh.

I did go up to Camden on Sunday for a photo walk with some people but it wasn't the walking that was good, even if I did walk for a long time.

I did have a walk around the city & South Bank this morning, for some variety. I'm lucky to live close to a lot of green spaces which are good to walk on, although I do like walking the streets too.

I try and take the kids for a good walk every two days or so when they're here. We did nearly five miles today. We're lucky to have quite a lot of green space nearby. We are all still pretty sick of it though yeah.

i take my two out every day (I have them) and they very much have teh "why the fuck are we doing this shit again?" state of mind. but out we go.

i've started to drive out a bit further to walk. drive to vauxhall, park up after 6pm, walk along south bank, then cross at blackfriars, then walk through west end and then back. do i enjoy it? no.

i'd be 3 stone heavier without the walking, which is a plus.

I've started to prefer to exercise at home now. It's quicker and you don't have the process of trying to drum up excitement for going for another bloody walk round the bloody park, knowing that it's going to be the same bloody place every bloody day.
