Amateur Ambient/IDM attempt - opinions wanted

fatcat

its no accident...
I'm pretty new to all this music making lark, but I'm eager to do more and get better.

Here's a few tracks I've uploaded on myspace

Most of this was done on an old version of reason, and whatever else I couldn't do on reason I used Audacity for.

Technical/musical criticisms welcomed. (except just saying "its shit")

thanks, anything specific that jumps out at you as being badly done?

I'm fairly confident with actually making the synths and rhythms now, but I don't really have a clue when it comes to mixing. Generally I just twat a compressor on anything that is clipping to badly, and put equalizers on anything I want to bring up in the mix, but besides that I don't really have a clue how to do all the subtle shit you need to get really crisp sounding stuff.

i think it sounds quality :)
personally, i don't like things so synthetic/industrial sounding... the clippyness of the reverb is the worst part in my opinion
but the structure and ideas are good :)
