It's very much a thing these days especially now we have AI recreating the faces of people long dead. When we went to the Jorvik Centre in York, many years ago they had used done a model of a Viking whose skull they had found to recreate what he looked like. He was an absolute dead ringer for my mate who was my best man. I often wondered if they were actually related.
