Why are more young men than older seeing feminism as a bad thing?

...of their confusion is the sudden exfoliation of sexuality into manifold non-binary forms that we have seen throughout the Anglosphere over the last twenty years. This has left many trad hetero men in a state of utter helpless disarray. Many of them blame "feminism" for their sad condition imce.

...could lead with “I am aware of all the feminist arguments for splitting the bill so therefor do you want to split?” but then that can just look like trying to feminism into their pants which is also not a great look. Or A straightforward “Do you want to split this?” Just feels tight. Taps...

Transphobes gunning hard for 'paedophilia' angle all of a sudden

In the same way that many US rad fems and Christian fundies were ideologically-aligned in the early 1980s in their opposition to pornography. This is what partly inspired Margaret Attwood to write The Handmaid's Tale.

Feminism and the silencing of women

Paying audience? Do they pay to listen, or not listen?

Can you give an example of this near-total ideological alignment? This sounds very strange to me. Possibly because I tend to avoid the topic, but I can't say that I've noticed this.

I'm not being sarcastic about feminism. I'm being sarcastic about a subset of people who, while explicitly labeling their actions as being driven by feminism, have helped fuel a reactionary backlash reinforcing gender tropes which act against women through their own bigotry. I'll acknowledge the...

Yep, bang on - I think you’ve nailed the answer to your own question.

    Barbie vs Oppenheimer

I went with my daughters and we really enjoyed it. It was lovely to see my 12 year old laugh, she's had a very tough year, and my 15 year old is really into feminism. It was fun.

Transgender hate crimes recorded by police go up 81%

...just comes down to "you can't tell me off for being a nazi now" then fuck it. Also very noticeable how quickly someone can go from feminism to "gender-critical" feminism to Very funny that that Miller prick turns out to be the offspring of a Spectator journo and a Goldman Sachs lawyer though.

    Laurence Fox. The twat.

...vile they are about LGBTQ people, the more we'll be like "Fuck you, why should I be ashamed of who I am?" Pride wouldn't even be a thing if queerphobia wasn't. Same as sexist morons getting all butthurt about feminism, going on an offensive rant and thereby proving why feminism is still needed.

This feels like massively overthinking things! It's weird you think it feels tight.

...politics of 1971. Tariq Ali turns up to warn John Lennon not to move to America, "it's full of kooks you know". Last night's one was about feminism and gay rights, with Carly Simon, Joni, and Elton John (the Father Dougal of modern British music). I don't think this one has been hyped at...

Is a revolution possible in the UK?

No, it’s not what they’re saying. But it is how what they’re saying, when made in short form, is usually understood these days, which is why I’ve largely stopped trying to make the critique they’re attempting to make. I can’t speak for burtabraham but this article has a go at making a similar...

I did. Which is why I said exactly that. ElizabethofYork can read and knows this full well. Maybe the self-described GC feminists should be the ones asking themselves why their ideology fits in so nicely with anti-feminist ideologies such as christian fundamentalism and outright fascism.

...including 'cancel culture' and 'gender ideology' have driven fascists towards the otherwise 100% kosher TERF crusade. And how it's nothing to do with the well-established connections and near-total ideological alignment between GC feminism and the militant anti-feminism of the extreme right.

Ah wonderful, rulings enforcing punishments if you don't stick to strictly gendered clothing choices. Another victory for feminism.
