My partner's brother has advanced ms and has an interview on Monday for PIP. He works from home, although is in the process of being made redundant by Hewlard Packard.
He wants to record the interview, they turned up and refused to conduct the interview as apparently a specific Recording...
...lasted a few minutes. It's ridiculous.
Moreover, the new assessment system is supposed to save money, but once you factor in the costs of the ATOS assessment, the tribunal and the DWP staff time that went into the initial decision, MR, tribunal preparation and all the rest, I can't believe...
Sorry to hear this ..........
Start the full appeal process, claim hardship payments ...............call MP, and post on the ATOS thread for more advice, as several people have had similar situations to deal with.
...I don't know how successful you will be - to tell yourself you are not going to worry about this until, say, April?
Or even just until next week? Or till tomorrow (sort of Scarlett O'Hara style)?
I was due to be reassessed in February, so I only just luckily got caught in the ATOS delay thing.
...if they thought that it would make this shit go away. But it won't. Die now and your death just reduces the pile of paperwork for the DWP and ATOS or their successor.
What each of us can do is outlast the bastards enabling this system, and live long enough to take it to bits, and then stop...
thanks but it's really hard.
benefitsandwork said that lots of people who were due reassessments this year will have thier repeat reassesssment deferred for two years.
It's fear of the unknown and that I cannot rule disaster out.
Also, I am just sat, i have no energy to do anything or...
...appointment may well be delayed. Nobody knows yet.
It is incredibly unlikely that you will be called for assessment in March next year. So please try to calm down and remember when you get the form we will help you on the ATOS support thread (even if it isn't ATOS anymore).
Try not to worry x x
Yeah thanks, but it's hard, it's totally dominating.
Being taken off ESA would set of a chain of events that I won't go into on this thread but maybe another.
I just can't wait to go back in bed again.
I never got up at all yesterday, except to get wees and drinks and to give a frieind some...
ATOS still seem to be doing the assessments in Balham.
I know that it's very easy to say, panpete, but try to save your worries for what you can change instead of what you can't.
Well you need some outrageous headline for fuckwitted muppets to cling on too whilst....
you secretly slip Maximus further into the fold

Glad it wasn't too bad, but sorry your GP didn't do their job. It would be worth getting a copy of the letter submitted to the DWP anyway for your own records, but I think it's interesting that someone submitted something to them and you're only finding out now.
I had my ATOS medical in Balham yesturday. I had it recorded and took a friend with me. I had to convince them that even though I am now a full time student I still have limited capacity for work as university is very different to a workplace and I am only able to be attend uni due to the...
...spent a couple of hours reading through this thread and find my heart sinking further by the minute. I am in the throes of being assessed by Atos and have even less faith in the process than I had before reading through the horror stories on here.
I was transferred into the support group...
