inspired by the recent flash gordon thread i watched the 80s film, which i hadn't seen since i was about 8
:D
Interesting bit of trivia fromIMDB: George Lucas wanted to do it in the first place, but the copyright was already held, so he came up with star wars instead.
Just had a look at the iMDB forums and it turns out there were loads of short scenes, etc cut or shortened from the episodes shown over here last night (including the scene mentioned above).
Hold on a second. How can Du-ne Bae play a school girl? She must be pretty old, she's been in films as an adult.
EDIT
A quick IMDB show her age as 28. So she was 25 when she made Linda Linda Linda.
Get in!!!
I knew I recognised her from somewhere! Dont remember any storylines with her though.
Re: Sally, cant help you :) Ive not seen Home and Away in a good few years! Ya flaming hoon!
And captain Price is Johnny Allen! It almost put me off a little - I kept on thinking of that bit in Cliff Hanger where CF kicks Sly in the head whilst shouting 'Oi uuused to be a Stroiker!" THWACK :D
In it as Bodie?
A quick look through their IMDb profiles show that nearly all of them have been in OZ and various Law&Order cash cows. Not as their Wire characters though.
I think the good Detective Munch from Homicide still owns the crown for most different serieses (what is the plural for...
So apparently Disney have surprised people by releasing a trailer for sequal to the famous 80s movie Tron.
Quality is pretty crap because its a cam job from some comic convention but the effects on the update of the classic bike chase scene looks

There was talk that Karen Allen would return for this one as the film features Indy's and Marion Ravenwood's son, but she recently dissappeared from the cast list on imdb. Shame, I thought she was cute and plucky and it would have been nice to have her back.
Well there WAS a torrent for it here but i think it's pretty much dead, i've had it stuck on a couple of percent for ages anyway.
Seems like it's pretty much impossible to get hold of anyway from the imdb page/board.
I've been reading Alex Cox's guides to the films he (and producer Nick Jones) selected for the BBC Moviedrome strand, which he has put on his website as PDFs.
Moviedrome was an excellent way to discover films you might never otherwise hear about, or think you were interested in, before the...
Hi Smudge, I can do no better than quote you what Mick La Selle wrote in the SF Chronicle. Sums up what I think perfectly. Even Daniel Auteil has said it bored him witless.
"Those willing to blast for it will be able to find some truth in "Caché," in the performances by Daniel Auteuil and...
Well I had a look on IMDB and found this:
I disagree with almost everything the OP stated. I think the 1973 version (not the mediocre "The Version You've Never Seen" released in 2000) is one of the greatest, most mature, thought provoking, and intelligent horror films ever made. It's also one...
umm fromimdb
Ron Howard ... Narrator / ... (53 episodes, 2003-2006)
Jason Bateman is just the main character, and speaking about The Ex, i watched it yesterday very funny and amusing film, well worth seeing
