Couldn't see one :hmm:

I can't be arsed with the sob stories etc, so I'm watching on YouTube.

First round of auditions was pretty strong, IMO. The Filipina group were good, and the lass singing Jocelyn Brown was

And the woman singing Shackles was great.

As ever, I'm unimpressed with the lads, though that fella Tom had a good voice. It's just a shame the women get all the fun songs and the men get inspid bilge to sing. I suppose being the auditions I can't blame the judges.

Sort it out lads

Anyone watching?

Yep I watched it yesterday as was bored...found myself getting excited about the really good voices from the ladies and yeah...the Filipina group were a refreshing surprise!

I think they've toned down the sob stories and the crap acts this year...

I enjoyed it, thought Grimmy was great. Rita Ora annoys me a bit and I think she's probably ruffled Cheryl's feathers. Cheryl will want to make sure she sticks with Simon as Rita and Nick were already friends I think.

I'm still convinced the truly crap acts are just that...paid actors brought in by the show to give a little light-hearted relief.

There's no way that No Limits woman was for real. And you can tell they're going to be rubbish before they start singing. They all have a certain 'look' about them that makes me feel uneasy. Caricatures of thick working class people, like this:

Yep I agree...it suits me more to think of them as paid actors because if they were genuine, well it doesn't bare well thinking about it really!

Is it me or does Cheryl not look like Cheryl? whats happened?

Aren't the Filipina group already established pros? Won 3 comps around the Pacific Rim?

Cheryl looked ill, Grimshaw sweaty and weird, Olly's old side kick desperate; loved it.

At least they're being blatant about which ones are already on the payroll. You can tell by the intro videos and the backing dancers.

And those Filipino girls were obvious ringers from the start.

No, it's utter tripe. Exploitative cunts. The only episode I'll watch is the one where they have a ritual beheading of Simon Cowell.

I remember a few years back they had their "worst contestant ever", which they showed on various repeats for the lulz. The lass in question is from round here and you'll now find her wandering the streets jibbering to herself. Now they either shamed her into this state or she was like this before and they exploited her for the ratings and cash.

Utter cunts. There's not many people I wish boils on, but Cowell is one

Apparently 22 out of the 24 acts at judge's houses are professionals who were invited to audition by the production team.

Changed its way a bit of late, the X factor.
