Winnie the Pooh : Blood and Honey

Well yunno.
Since this shit clearly isn't going away anytime soon might as well make it absurd and ridiculous.

You never know, ir might turn out to be a watershed moment. "NO! I I care not that a bloke kills women for gory entertainment but when you put that violence in the paws and trotters of beloved fantasy animals, you've gone too far!! Now, now we will do something about this sick filth!"

Young women being terrorised and killed, except it's by toys gone bad. Not very subversive really.
Did anybody claim it is ? Looks like a poorly made exploitation film which does the barest minimum to deliver on its premise. The premise works though, because unlike 99.99 % of films which are more worthwhile, this now has its own thread here and I've seen it all over social media. It's all about an exploitable hook, the film itself is merely an afterthought.

FWIW I think the Saturday Night murder drama on the telly is more of a problem cos it's more normalised than this stuff. And seen by far more people ,including children.

Appears to be a trend, last year they turned The Banana Splits into a horror film.

One of my favourite horror films in years. Looking forward to watching it again this Hallowe'en

That looks like a hammy drama-lama mess to me but there’s definitely a need for a properly done horror version of the Wizard of Oz.

Tin man automaton, creepy walking scarecrow, the poppy fields, the witches and flying monkeys, the tornado, child stuck in the Otherworld…. And all before we even get to Oz and the manipulative lies of the “wizard”.
