Why does Windows 11 no longer read my microsd card?

Is it because I updated windows yesterday in a two hour long festival of slow updates and downloads?

I have a microsd card plugged in that i use to back up stuff. I've just noticed that I can't access it anymore; it asks me instead if I want to format it. I do not. I've plugged it into my tablet and the card reads fine so must be something to do with windows.

Anyone know a fix that doesnt involve spending more money? Thanks

Is it detecting the card at all Karl Masks ?

Have you said 'No' to formatting it? What happens then?

It seems to now be working. I think windows was just being a dick. I did a big update yesterday so it was probably some of that bullshit leftover. Who knows, thanks anyway. Hopefully it will reamin stable

Prolly a driver update that went skew and was then corrected.
