Which players have impressed you so far?

kained&able

Here for the football.
Okay so modric has looked like a good player and im bloody jelous of spurs and demand lennon as some sort of compensation.

Toulalamon has really impressed me. He looks more then able to take over from makele(or petit anyway) in the french midfield and i would be shocked if he is at lyon for too much longer.

Benzema loos like a good prospect as well but clearly isnt quite ready yet.

Podolski looks class i can't work out why hes had such a shite season at bayern.

Other then them there haven't been too many people that have impressed that i don't allready know a bit about and wouldn't cost 15million or more(y'know like villa, torres etc)

The Dutch centre back pair - Ooarya and Boolarooz. Whodathunkit?

And that big fella in midfield - only had six caps before the tournament began..

Boruc in goal for Poland.

Arda Turan looks like a very useful little winger/playmaker.

Silva looks similarly useful on the left for the Spanish.

Hamit Altıntop and Nihat also look to be good players.

Stoor impressed during Sweden's game with the Spanish. He'll probably lose his place tonight as Lagerback goes all defensive and dour though.

Sneijder, Boulahrouz and Van Bronckhorst for the Dutch, Lahm for Germany, Jankolowski and Ujfalusi for the Czechs, and Xavi for the Spanish. However most of those were already known to most.

The two Dutch holding midfielders, Sneijder, van der Vaart, van Nistelrooy, van der Sar, Boruc, van Bronckhurst against Italy (magnificent), van Persie, Robben (see a pattern developing?), Deco, Lahm, Ronaldo's done okay, Villa, Torres, Xavi, Iniesta and Senna against Russia (didn't see the Sweden game, have been told the Spanish were not impressive), Grosso, Nihat and Arda for Turkey. Missed tonights game but the Russians sounded impressive. Agree that Toulalen did okay but there's no way he and Makelele should have been played together, at least against Romania. That's Domenech's fault, no-one elses.

Arshavin, Schneider, Modric, Van Persie and Villa (just for his goals)

But there's so many good players that there could be different ones catching the eye in the next ten days.

Let's hope so.

I'd love to see Arshavin and Ivanshitz in the prem just for the comedy value. Haven't had a decent ludacrously named player in the league for a while.

Probably won't get many to agree, but I've been really impressed by Pirlo's long passing

Also, that Jerkoff from Russia has been class

When Marcus Bent played for us, we tried to sign a Chinese "superstar" striker called Hai Ho Dong, so our strike force would have been "Bent Dong"

The commentators were spontaneously ejaculating every time Ronaldo got near the ball tonight, but it was clear that Deco was the true orchestrator of the Portuguese.

Did i imagine him(schwiensteiger) getting a sending off or did he not play in a game i really didnt pay any attention?

hew doesnt look bad but i have a feleling would be shit in the permier league.
