the book i asked for didn't download, though i tried 5x on two computers.
then i asked for it to be sent to the email address i gave, but it never arrived, though i sent it 2x.

e2a in the meantime i tried on my phone also and it didn't work again.

e3a i got it as an email attachment 12 hours later, which leads me to wonder if the order was executed manually, not automatically, and there's no problem with that, but i was left not knowing what was going on with my information. the format can't be factored by my computer. i was though able to download it onto my phone. net result, free book, and i'm grateful ...

Real books not e-books, but PM UK have started doing a "fiver friday" deal where they put up five books from their back catalogue for a fiver (each, not all together). It's worth a look (although I've just looked and confusingly it seems to cover more than the five titles they told me about):

I got the Free Association book I'd been meaning to read for ages through it a while back, and if you order today you can get some Vangeigem from 2018 or some Kelman from 2023 for £5. Or the Sick of it All book:
