I’ve just got The Green Roasting Tin after a mate has been signing its praises.



What’s your fave veggy cookbook(s)?

There are better books for learning to put things together to make your own dishes, but in terms of the enjoyment I got from eating the actual recipes in the book it has to be Thug Kitchen.

We have many veggie cookbooks back home and the only ones I can think of now are by Simon Rimmer.

My favourite recipe from the Green Roasting Tin is the one with beetroot and leeks and bulgur wheat.

Madhur Jaffrey’s World Vegetarian Cookbook is very reliable - you’ll never get bored of veg with that on your shelf

As mentioned on the other thread, River Cottage veg every day is still my most used book. He's done a sequel which is entirely vegan recipes.
