Uday and Qusay Hussein believed alive

This forum knows that I presented the theory that Uday and Qusay Hussein were alive a long time ago - and there was one poster in particular who demanded how on earth I could presume to know better than the men's own relatives.

Well, I take it that you wouldn't dream of doing such a thing yourself, editor. For it turns out, their very own mother doesn't believe the US claim!

The report added that Sajeda believes Uday and Qusay Hussein are still alive, and that the pictures released by US authorities were merely "fake".
...
Saddam's first wife Sajeda was mother to Uday, Qusay and three daughters - Raghad, Saddam's favorite; Rana; and Hala.

Saddam wife says Uday, Qusay still ''alive''

So Saddam's wife thinks they're alive but has no proof. Hmmm...

Well done for making the thread title "Uday and Qusay Hussein believed alive" rather than "Uday and Qusay Hussein are alive"

Also pointing out that Sajeda doesn't seem to have any doubts that the US got the real Saddam.

So is she a reliable witness or an unreliable witness DJ - your evidence contradicts itself here doesn't it?

She may have doubts over that too, we don't know. It's quite enough to launch such a troublesome view in the press over the Uday and Qusay capture in a country now controlled by the US military.

butchersapron - even if his wife does believe that the Saddam capture is genuine while the Uday and Qusay capture is not (we don't know that), there's been nothing inconsistent in my approach. I didn't base my argument upon the views of the relatives, especially as I didn't know what they were!

It was editor who attacked the 'Uday and Qusay are alive' theory for several pages on the basis that the relatives accepted the two decomposed, stinking corpses that the US gave them as being U & Q, and how dared I presume to know better than they did; although he, like me, did not know what they thought at all. It is by editor's own argument that he must now have extreme doubts about the supposed deaths of Uday and Qusay; but I suspect that he will offer no such statement.
