I wonder how frequently someone gets censored for accidentally using one of the 546 terms without knowing the double meaning?
If the trend continues indefinitely the day will come when the language consists entirely of coded Xi Jinping insults

Either Rand Paul or Ron Paul has just joined Instagram in protest against the banning. I would check which but I'd rather go back to sleep. All the "ban" does is force the app stores to remove the app for usa users isn't it?
Still it's something to wind up right wing americans next time they bang on about the first amendment
I’m really enjoying Red Book. Learning some Mandarin and lots of stuff on cats and gadgets. Some of the anecdotes about American's migration to Red Book are hilarious. Chinese were flabbergasted about American medical bills and the Americans asking about the details of social credit , in a weird way it might break down the propaganda from both governments.

I wonder if the stunt will change anything.
A lot of Americans don't seem to know it's a stunt..
He originally wanted to ban tiktok because last election tiktockers were ordering the free tickets to his rallys and then not showing up. This time round though tiktok has apparently been full of pro-trump stuff (not seen it myself as i have never used tiktik). Hence the u turn. It's going to let Trump, who tried to ban TikTok, was thwarted by federal courts, and flip-flopped on the issue, act like he's a free-speech hero for bringing badk TikTok on his first day in office
Not for me.

I'm getting this but I'm in the UK. It won't even let me in to see if I can change the region.
I've found some interesting stuff on it but I actually haven't found it that addictive, I can on my tolerate so much of it so I don't even look at it every day.The most addictive social media platform I've ever been on.
More like they went on strike and Trump came runningSo TikTokmageddon turned out be a 12-hour self-imposed outage
