He originally wanted to ban tiktok because last election tiktockers were ordering the free tickets to his rallys and then not showing up. This time round though tiktok has apparently been full of pro-trump stuff (not seen it myself as i have never used tiktik). Hence the u turn.

The most addictive social media platform I've ever been on.

I've found some interesting stuff on it but I actually haven't found it that addictive, I can on my tolerate so much of it so I don't even look at it every day.
