The most ridiculous question of all time!

1927

Funnier than he thinks he is.
In 1989 at 600am I wa standing outside the entrance to the Belfry on the morning of the final day of The Ryder Cup. A guy asked me "are you here for the golf?" Now I have always recounted that story as the most ridiculous question I had ever been asked or heard asked. This morning Hazel-Talentless bint-Irvine came out with a question so ridiculous it made the one previously mentioned seem like one you would expect on mastermind.

Talking to the BBC Bejing correspondent about the withdrawal of Liu Xiang from the 110m hurdles she said, and I still can't believe I heard correctly, and I am quite prepared to be proved wrong..............she said
"Why was it so important to him?" FFS Chinese favourite, in Bejing, first Asian to win track Gold. I would have to resign from the BBC if I had asked such a stupid mindless question. More proof taht teh BBC is employing idiots at these games.

There's another ridiculous question they just asked 'would he have preferred to run or go out this way'(not worded exactly like that but you know what i mean)...WTF?

Thing is with Adrian Chiles I dont know whetehr he is being a cock all the time or just asking the question that some people would have been asking at home. there will ahve been some cynics watching on tv who would have been thinking along those lines.
