Nothing that isn't already posted. GG and Mr Steev have it about covered - you may be lucky this time but one day the spores/secondary toxins could get you and you might get a bollock like mine!

I reckon I'm probably immune to the effects. I reheated stir-frys for years - adding new ingredients to yesterday's - left in the wok at any time of year ..

I'm pretty safe these days because I use microwave rice which is specially heat treated to destroy any spores.

Poor Billy Bob. There's little I can say at a time like this, for obvious reasons, except that I know he liked tiny pointless food made from rice and not even any fish in it. Which was ultimately his undoing.

Guess this would be the thread to mention that urban75 has made me so wary of leftover rice that I felt obliged to wrap some especially old and moldy rice up in plastic before throwing it out today so the raccoons wouldn't eat it and get sick...
