Me too. I recently binge watched it. It doesn't disappoint on multiple watching.

I can't imagine this one being as good, the Guardian, however, gave it a 5* review

I too never watched the first series, not sure how I missed it. Liking it so far and the characters are very quirky.

Just rewatched the first series and it's as excellent as I remember. The locations add so much to it, all the nospecific nowhere towns and blank, flat landscapes. Everyone in it is ordinary-looking. It's like watching a Thomas Hardy novel with jokes.

All 8 episodes on All4. Every bit as good as series 1.

Just absolutely brilliant telly. I want to watch it all again already.

Before, I would. But am trying to see as much as I can, whilst I can. Same reason I don't re-read favourite books anymore.

Best British TV since I don't even know what. Devastating. The only grumble with season two would be the inclusion of a few more familiar actors who didn't sit quite right alongside the three leads, who were so good throughout that they didn't really seem like actors at all.
