The best way to send four boxes across the UK

Following on from this thread, I have to send four boxes of my (soon to be) ex wife's stuff across the country. Medium sized packing box, one filled with books and quite heavy but the others relatively light. She's leaving for a month in the near future and I'm desperate to get the stuff out of my house before then.

Is it unrealistic to expect I could guarantee these get to her within a few days? I don't drive which limits things somewhat.

Do they pick up? And is it just stupidly optimistic to imagine this could be completed within a few days? If so I should probably keep the stuff for now rather than risk it being left in a depot for many weeks.

I'd have thought you can get someone to pick it up tomorrow and deliver within a couple of days from more or less any parcel delivery company

Parcel2go is the one I tend to use.

However, check the sizes & weights pretty carefully.
You may find swopping a few things around gets the overall cost down.
Pack quite carefully / securely and weigh again, just to be sure.
Make sure the labelling is clear.

Thanks very much. Never sent this quantity of stuff by post before so it's new to me.

Yep.

DPD.
Reliable and fast
DPD your best bet. Take a photo of the contents and the boxes. The more detail the better. Their parcel service is good but when it goes wrong it's a ball ache and you want evidence. Or take a picture of something really valuable in the box then repack it.Might be worth paying a little extra for their fancy insurance if there is anything valuable. 30kg is their normal limit but its a lot less for a timed delivery.
