Not that there is any way even a pistol makes sense on a segway.
Unless the plan invovles making the enemy laugh too hard to be able to hold a rifle straight.*


* a tactic employed by the Coldstream guards in belfast when they sent teams out to tidy the place up one to pick up litter one to sweep and two to guard them. A iraman admitted he was going to shoot at them but found the scene too fucking funny.

Apparently that is a photo of "Scout/snipers from 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, sight in downrange with an M-40 sniper rifle at Ban Chan Khrem, Thailand, as part of a combined live-fire exercise during Cobra Gold 2000.". As such, could you point out just what the Marines are doing all wrong?

If their on the range it is okay. Though some people would complain about using the pack as a rest for the rifle ( if it works for them though who cares)
Actually sniping lack of camouflage and concealment. Which if they did it properly would turn the photo into a puzzle trying to work out what was in the field. Being a sniper is a strange job actually shooting is probably the easiest part to get right.
