Good to see another long overdue film on the English Civil war period after Winstanley and Cromwell. Suzy Gillett's film centres on the Fifth Monarchist rising in 1661 led by Thomas Venner and the more peaceful path of the Muggletonians. A commemoration of Venner will be held at Swan Alley off Coleman Street on January 6th 2013 at noon and the director will be present to discuss her film.
