Summer Snowboarding in the Alps

Anyone been?

There's several places you can board early or late and a few all year round ( I'm thinking of Zermatt for example).

But is the snow quality up on the glaciers any good?

Done it in Switzerland, but the number of runs on any one glacier and it quickly gets boring.

I'd love to. Been to Argentina and NZ during the "summer".... But will be living a coupla hours drive from the Alps from Septmeber and fancy a few early season weekenders...

Acutally I was talking shite, I've never snowboarded in the summer, in fact I've only ever snowboarded 100 metres before breaking 3 ribs.

Skiing is what I was on about, same shit when it come sto glaciers though.
