This is a biggie. Stan Lee changed popular culture as much as any man in the 20th/21st century

I wouldn't be surprised if he's filmed enough cameos to last for years - and has given instructions for CGI cameos to continue after that. At the very least, there'll probably be a Stan Lee appearance in every graveyard scene in a Marvel movie from now on.

He was a ruthless bastard who fucked with a lot of other people's intellectual property, but he also did a lot of creativity of his own and really did change the cultural landscape forever.

I'm hoping that they just digitally add him in the background. Nothing too obvious but still there.

But then i like the fan theory that he is the watcher for the MCU

I remember buying issue 1 of Marvel Comic when it launched in the UK. It had an iron-on transfer of The Hulk. Would be worth a fortune now if I'd kept it...

Stan Lee's legacy (along with Steve Ditko and Jack Kirby) is impossible to measure. A huge influence on me as a kid and still as a bigger kid....

Following the death of his wife last year there were a series of increasingly disturbing reports suggesting Lee was being preyed on by those around him. (Hard to decide what was more revolting - that his blood was allegedly stolen and used to 'sign' collectables, or that cunts would actually buy them).

An 'interview' a month ago did little to dispel the impression that he was vulnerable and at the mercy of other peoples agendas.
