Looking forward to this one a lot! Some rivalry here and although Spain are favourites on recent form it should be a spicy one.

  • Are Spain still hungry enough for success?
  • How will the young, inexperienced Oranje defense cope with the pressure?
  • Will Louis van Gaal's new 5-3-2 system work against the Spanish Tiki-taka football?

They were both the archetypal underachievers. I think before Spain's recent team they only had a single Euro between them?
Yes, although the Dutch had two WC finals too. One of the best teams never to win the WC.

I think I'm right in saying that before their recent team, Spain had never gone beyond the qf in the WC.

I'll be backing Spain, I think, just because of the last final. I never know, though, my allegiances are fickle, and I may switch mid-game.

Isn't Robben injured? I have Spain to win 2-1 @7/1 and Netherlands to win 1-0 for the same odds... you watch it'll be a draw

it really is a pretty poor netherlands squad, can't see anything other than a spain win here unfortunately

Come on Holland. Bloody boring Spain.
Fucking hell Lawrenson, smarten up lad. Look likd a tramp

the shameful reason for those empty seats ... corporate wankers who dont turn up + FIFA corruption:

A loan from Uncle Sepp
Meanwhile, the Byroms have granted Infront a 5 percent stake in their subsidiary company Match, which has 450,000 tickets to resell to corporate hospitality clients in VIP boxes. These include 32,000 for Brazil games and another 12,000 for the final.
